Impossible Part

I ordered a snow thrower blade with the part number. My part number was discontinued. A substitute part number was ordered by the Parts Department. The part arrived and it was the wrong size. I contacted Customer Service. I was now told that there is no replacement part available and I should try Google. Why would they send me a different size part ????
