Side or bottom exhaust vent kit 3911EZ9131X fits some Kenmore and Kenmore Elite dryer models starting with 7966141, 7966142, 7966143, 7966151, 7966152, 7966155, 7966162, 7966900, 7966927, 7966947, 7967141 and 7967142.
Also fits some LG dryer models starting with DLE, DLEX, DLG, DLGX, CDE and CDG.
Side or bottom exhaust vent kit 3911EZ9131X converts the dryer to vent exhaust to the side or bottom instead of the back of the dryer.
This vent kit includes 2 straight outlet ducts, 1 duct elbow, 1 cover plate, 1 screw and the instruction sheet.
The vent kit replaces part number 383EEL9001B.

Quick Delivery
I needed this Side Exhaust Vent Kit to change the vent on our new LG dryer to side vent. Most sources (local and online) I tried to purchase this from were either out of stock, on back order or double the price! Sears Parts Direct was the only source with the kit in stock and delivered the kit within 3 days just in time for delivery of my new dryer! Exactly the part I needed.
Could not find anywhere else. Easy to install, instructions are included. You should have tape for ducts around, it makes a more secure seal and it is required in the instructions. Dryer works perfectly now.

Finally done right
Our original installer didn't use this kit to install our dyer like he should have. It caused problems right after the warranty expired. The kit went in easily and fixed the problem.

Product works like it should
It was not difficult to convert to a side vent, but you should take your time and have a lot of patience. Connecting the set screw for the inside vent pipe was difficult because of my hand size and the clearance you have to work with. It took me a while to get it. And, wrapping the foil tape around the joints was tough because you have to do it by touch, as you can't see it. I had several miss tries, but eventually I was successful. Other than that, the kit works like it should and the vent quality is equal or better than the original vent pipe I removed from the dryer. Price is high for what you get in my opinion. It should be half of what they charge. But, it's a specialty fit part, so not much you can do about it.
