Pretty simple install of drum belt. My idler pulley was bad, but I decided to do the belt also. Old belt was a bit stretched so this new one fit snug and reduced noise from drum spinning. Old pulled had a squeak then eventually broke internally and the belt came off and dryer wouldn’t start. I have a (somewhat old I think prob 2005+) Kenmore model 11067042600. I also replaced the dryer blower belt which was noticeably worn with perpendicular/lateral breaks in the rubber and was also a bit stretched. All in all it was $107 after 10% off from this website which is more than I was hoping, but I wasn’t sure of fitment of 3rd party parts and reliability seemed to be a problem so I paid about triple the price to not have to spend another hour or two ripping this dryer apart again in the future and losing my initial investment on bad/cheap parts. Time is money. Also I think the Whirlpool parts are same, but diff part numbers and it was $1 cheaper, but wasn’t worth the risk for me. I hope this review helps and good luck. It’s quite easy if you’re handy and know a little about mechanical stuff. I turned the blower nut by hand with belt pulled/stretched to one side to force it on. The belt is strong/quality and didn’t seem like it would break.
