This outer rear tub (part number DC97-12957A) is for washers.

Outer rear tub DC97-12957A fits around and supports the spin basket and attaches to the outer front tub, sealing water inside the washer.

Unplug the washer before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

Replacement part - fits with original front half

This is a replacement part for an earlier part number - it does connect and fit with the front half. However, there is an additional vent opening that is not needed for the 2011 Washer. Was able to just cover the hole and use the part anyway.

Very time consuming to install, but not hard.

This part takes about a day to install and you have to be mechanically inclined. Take pictures before you take things apart so that you can be sure they are in the correct place when reassembling.
