Once we purchased the right tool, it was very easy
The part is secured by unusual screws, with star heads, needing a particular screw head to work. Would have been helpful to have had instructions ahead of time about the tools needed to install the part. Once we had the tool, it was easy Parcheesi.

The part was a perfect fit. It only took 10-15 minutes to take out the old part and put in the new part.

Just what I ordered and very easy to install.
I had issues with the cycle not completing and the lid not opening, the original part had rusted and was causing the problems, once I replaced it with this part everything was back up and running normal.

Washer door strike Installation
Diagnosis took awhile but repair was simple for anyone. One issue for some is that you need a Torx socket for the screws. Fixed an annoying intermittent spin issue but extremely overpriced for such a simple part and shipping (~$30). Problem with part was apparently a weak spring.
