Friction disc 656-04055A transfers power from the engine to the wheels so your snowblower can move forward. It replaces part numbers 656-04025A and 656-04055.

The friction disc mounts on the drive wheel axle. As the spinning drive wheel plate contacts the disc, it rotates the axle and moves the machine. If your snowblower isn t moving, moves slowly, or makes scraping or squealing noises, the friction disc may be worn out.

To install this part, disconnect the spark plug wire, open the chassis, and remove the worn disc from the drive system. Wear work gloves to protect your hands while working near sharp or greasy components.
