Electronic Control Board
Parts came way ahead of schedule. Very simple to install. ÊTroubleshooting was right on time. ÊMy dryer first continued to run anytime the door was closed. ÊIt later stopped running when it was suppose to, it just wouldn't come off the cooling cycle and heat up. Replaced the ECB and all problems solved.Ê

Plug and Play
The board itself was easy to install. I had the dryer torn completely down to clean lint, but it only took about 20 minutes to swap out circuit boards. It cured the problem too.

It solved our problem
The issue we had was that our dryer would get the clothes dry and the front panel lights would go off, but it continued to tumble. Information on the searsdirect site indicated possibly the control board, so we thought we would give it a try. The video and instructions were helpful in showing how to replace. There are a lot of wire connections to be undone and redone. Using a screwdriver to push the release 'button' on all the connectors really helped. It's in the instructions but significant. The connectors were all fairly unique so easy to know where to put on the new board. Our old board was just screwed to the inside of the dryer with a foam piece stuck to the back; I'm assuming the foam was for cushion and insulation between the board and the side of the dryer. The new board did not come with a new foam piece. I was able to carefully peel the foam from the old board and stick it to the new board. Installation was fairly easy, but we took our time to make sure we were careful with the control board and putting connections back on. The new control board solved our problem.

Awful - Not shipping the part that is ordered
I have been sent the wrong part twice. I order part number EBR71725807 and receive EBR71725809. This has gone on for over a month and now I am supposed to provide pictures that show it isn't the right part. Apparently even though it's the wrong part number that's not enough. Their research team has awful communication.
