Exact part replacement
This was an exact part to replace the 14" agitator brush in my Kenmoore Crossover vacuum. Took maybe 5 minutes to break the component down and replace the agitator, pulley belt, and a furniture guard.

Easy install
Changing out the beater bar was so simple as long as you follow directions for popping off the housing. 20 mins. This 82 year old female did it. It's like having a new machine. The vacuum is 10 yrs old. I should have done it sooner.

Always check the bar after each time you use your vacuum and clean as much as you can any build up on the bar...might be better to use a broom to sweep up loose hair before vacuuming even

Simple installation
Disassembling the unit that holds the agitator is simple, just 2 screws and 4 tabs hold it together. With the unit apart I took time to carefully clean the unit of hair and dirt. I also changed the drive belt while I had it apart. This was a snug fit since the original belt had stretched a bit. Non-belt end of the agitator went in easily. Belt end took some force to get it to pop into place. Replacing cover was simple. The results were excellent. The longer bristles dug out dog hair and dirt much better. The unit was originally purchased in 2014 so the bristles has worn quite a bit. New ones are far better. With cleaning the unit total time was 30 minutes.

Brand New and Ready to Go
This is relatively easy to install and it makes a difference. After years of use the old beater bar definitely needed to be replaced. Glad Sears still had the replacement available.
