Met my expectation
The only negative thing I can say, is, it's to bad kenmore had to make it so the rubber grommet was NOT replaceable by itself. Otherwise everything fit and was a day earlier than I expected thank you

Kenmore Dishwaser leak
The part for my dishwasher seem to work fine. Disappointed that I had to spend $100 to replace the entire sump when the problem was only a $5.00 grommet seal on the sump that was defective. You can't buy the seal and it forces you to buy the whole sump. This sucks!

It's Maytags fault
I looked lots for the a simple grommet for my Kenmore. It was nowhere to be found. I had to but the sump assemble that had the grommet in it. It was probably the engineers at Kenmore/Maytag that didn't sell the grommet as a stand alone item. So the assembly went well, just that Arghhhhh that comes with a bad designed product.

Fairly easy to install, definitely worked.
Like so many others, it was a small rubber grommet that failed in the sump pan. God forbid they make this 50 cent part a serviceable component. Had to buy the whole sump pan for $110. Still, it worked like a charm and dishwasher is back up and running great. No complaints about the part. I guess it could be worse and I could be out of pocket $1000 for a new dishwasher, so there's that! Still can only afford 3 stars for design issues.

Not Rocket Science
I did install a new one however I may not have needed to. On taking it apart I found a small hole in the rim that dripped water on the pump motor and ruined the motor. Looks like the hole is from the factory. After installing the new motor and sump I put J B Weld on the hole working great no leaks.

Sump pump part
No directions to install, so you'll need to go online. Hardest part is taking some of the old parts off without breaking them.
