QUICK & EASY
One may find the part a little cheaper But, one will receive their part quickly & it will be the correct one with searspartsdirect Putting the part in was easy with the aid of a clamp that can be reset into an expander These are really not bearings as much as they are bushings to hold the ends of the auger. Probably would be good to order a couple of pairs if you plan on keeping the snowblower. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN and a washer would help to disperse the load to help prevent the plastic bearing/bushing from developing a crack. Some blue loctite on the threads, too.

AUGER BEARING EASY TO INSTALL
The Bearing was easy to install when I had to remove the blade. Always check the auger bearing when changing out the belt. I noticed the bearings were cracked at the mounting holes, probably from age/cold weather.

Plastic, should have been made by metal!
Horrible to install! Shear pin got wedged in shaft! Caused flange to break! Flange should have been made of metal. My fault, I hit a rock! But snowblower, over all, has been a good one! But, I won't buy another, with a plastic flange!

Easy to modify and install
These bearings replaced two cracked bearings that would have cost me $20 to replace OEM. I chose these and modified the mounting holes to fit the housing. These are made of high strength plastic that won't wear/fail easily and seem far more robust than the OEM Snapper parts that I used these to replace.
