Perfect replacement Perfect price
Replacing the glass stove top was surprisingly easy - especially if you like for a YouTube video for exactly or almost exactly the same stove- tip-search using the part number ! The control panel at front comes off first, then just 2 screws ( some similar stoves have a few more, possibly on the side as per video I used, but ours had just 2). And the old top was off. Removing burners was super easy; changing a burner switch ( bought elsewhere ) looked harder than it actually was ( replacement looks different but the terminals have same numbers ). Take notes and photos as you go to make reassembly easier. Overly cautious process took 3 hours start to finish but it could be done in 2 or less. Price of glass tops varies widely for same exact part, so thanks to Sears for keeping a reasonable price !!!

Easy to install, not quite the right top
Pretty easy to install. But the top had the two larger burners in the front when the original had one in the back; big difference as large boiling pots are supposed to be in the back. But I couldn't ask the tenant to wait a couple more weeks without a stove top.
