Additional Information

Engine pulley 586729001 mounts to the engine crankshaft and turns the ground drive belt and, on some models, the blade drive belt. It replaces part number 401985.

If your lawn tractor isn t moving or the blades aren t engaging properly, the pulley may be worn or damaged. Replacing it can restore smooth power transfer to the drive and cutting systems.

Turn off the tractor and disconnect the spark plug before beginning. Use a wrench set to remove the old pulley and install the new one. Wear gloves to protect your hands while working with rotating parts and fasteners.
