Additional information

The dryer drum belt wraps around the dryer drum and connects to the motor pulley so the drum turns during operation. As the motor runs, the belt transfers power to the drum, allowing clothes to tumble through the heated airflow.

If the dryer drum wont spin, stops turning during a cycle, or you hear the motor running without drum movement, the drum belt may be broken or stretched. A worn belt can also slip on the pulley and cause the drum to turn intermittently.

Unplug the dryer before starting the repair. Open the cabinet, route the new belt around the drum, and loop it around the motor pulley and idler pulley as shown in your models configuration.
