Burner knob set 00654043 lets you control the heat of the surface burner. The set includes all of the knobs needed for the cooktop.
Remove the knob by pulling it straight off its post.

High priced plastic
I have a thermador series appliances, and one knob bottom broke, when a cat ran over the counter fleeing from me. You can't just order the small bottom piece that actually goes on the valve, these aren't the same as the Thermador, but the bottom is close enough. So I paid at least a 500% mark up for more plastic.... rediculous, and had I known the knobs were so frail and no longer manufactured, I would have bought a "big box store" brand cooktop and been just as happy as i was with my "professional chef grade" appliances.

Doesn't fit
The part looks great but the shaft is too small/narrow to actually fit the Bosch recommended model. Not Sears fault... Bosch's.

Replacing Cooktop Control Knobs
Old knobs weredeformed underneath but came off easily. New knobs not exactly like old ones. Sit up higher and somewhat difficult to press all the way down to get even.
