This manufacturer-approved transaxle (part number 402723) fits Foote\Dana lawn tractor model D6800.

To take off the existing transaxle, remove the wheels, shifter, brake linkage and mounting hardware.

Installing the new transaxle requires lifting and supporting the rear of the tractor off the ground. Having a second person help make the repair is recommended.
