Old machine, but sturdy and simple
Spider arm is not being sold alone. The best price of spider arm, used condition, on eBay was $250. I decided to get the basket with the spider arm attached, brand new. installation takes time but everything is explained on the YouTube videos. I wish if spider arm is being manufactured and sold alone. Back to business. fully functional simple machine. I intentionally repaired it because I didn't want to get rid of the dryer on top of it and reconnect a whole new set.

Easy install!
Straightforward and painless effort to install. Took a few hours to do only because the washer was part of a double stack that I had to disassemble first.

Glad I did it.
It was a little work to get it replaced, I would recommend getting the bearing/seal kit right away. I replaced the shocks and spring also. It now runs like a brand new machine. Worth it Don't forget to remove you old baffles and put them in the new drum right away.

Baffles Not Included
Ordered this for a Kenmore Model 41744142400. Be advised that this Spin Basket does come with any Baffle (Part #131274600) or associated Baffle Screw (Part #131302800) of which you will need three. Thus, if purchasing this Spin Basket as a replacement, you will want to remove the Baffles (and Baffle Screws) from the spin basket being replaced and install in the new one PRIOR TO reconnecting the front and rear outer tub assemblies together (which on a Kenmore Model 41744142400 involves 23 long screws).
