Very satisfied with the info on your web site which gave me the confidence that this part was really what I was looking for. The only minor glitch was the installation info showed a part unlike this one. Installation was, however, pretty much common sense

It took about 5 mins. to replace the valve. Great to be able to find the right part and the price was fine too.

Bad Deal

I was guaranteed by the support person that this valve would stop my icemaker from over flowing water into the ice bucket. It did not and turned out to be a waste of time and money.

Switch Kenmore Fridge water dispenser

The thru the door water dispenser for my 23 year old Kenmore refrigerator quit working. I had the part number and entered it in the search; replacement part came up right away. Ordering was easy. Part came 4 days earlier than promised. It was easily replaced.

Check to make sure the connections are the same.

That if they give you the right model they will likely get the wrong part. The valve is the same But some refrigerators have threaded connections and some have push in connections.

Check solenoid sound first

It was the wrong part. Recommended too quickly wrong part, although it fit. Seems to be the water solenoid needs to be checked first. If there is no sound from the water pushing, then the solenoid is bad not the inlet valve.

So-so to install

It was easy to find the part we needed. The installation wasn't too bad. I wish something was mentioned about this specific part being remodeled. I had a rough time figuring how the new piece worked like the old piece. Easy after I watched a 15 min. Video.
