Stovetop grate Pas-kit

Pad-kit arrived in a timely manner. However when I went to install them the cylindrical part that went into the pre-drilled hole was way too small. The pad would fall out as soon as I turned the grate over to place back on the stovetop. The only way to get them to stay in was some type of adhesive which was not included. I tried some silicon caulk with limited success and not sure it will hold up to the heat. Sears PartsDirect did not indicate or offer the need for any additional adhesive. I also ordered and paid for 3 packages of 5 pads and received 2 packages of 5 and 1 package of 4. Overall, very disappointed with product and Sears PartsDirect.
