How to clear water softener error codes

To clear the error codes from the electronic control, follow these simple steps.

1. Unplug the transformer power supply.

2. Check possible cause and correct as needed. See our water softener DIY repair section or check your owner's manual.

3. Plug in the power transformer.

4. Wait 6 minutes after power is restored.

5. If the error code returns, the problem wasn’t resolved.
