Operating tips for your Weed Eater electric leaf blower

  • Before each use, inspect the leaf blower for damaged, missing or loose parts such as screws, nuts, bolts and fasteners. Tighten all loose fasteners and replace any missing parts.
  • Watch out for children, pets, open windows or cars when blowing leaves and debris.
  • Operate the leaf blower at the lowest possible throttle speed to complete the job.
  • To keep from scattering debris, blow around the outer edges of a debris pile. Never blow directly into the center of a pile.

Troubleshooting your Weed Eater electric leaf blower when it won't run

  • Check the power supply. Make sure that the electrical outlet that you're using to power the leaf blower is good. Plug a different item into the outlet plug to check for power. Reset the house circuit breaker for the outlet if it's dead.
  • Check the extension cord for damage. Replace or repair broken wires in the extension cord if it's damaged.
  • Unplug the leaf blower and check the power cord wiring connections to the trigger switch. Reconnect any loose wires and repair any broken wires.
  • With the leaf blower still unplugged, check the wiring connections between the trigger switch and the motor. Reconnect any loose wires and repair any broken wires.
  • If all wiring connections are okay, you may need to replace the trigger switch or the motor.
