My initial experience with Sears PartsDirect
My initial experience with Sears PartsDirect exceeded my expectations. The parts arrived sooner than projected and they worked with our 30 year old garage door opener as promised. Too soon to comment on the quality of the safety sensors, but thus far, I'm a very satisfied first-time customer. We've acquired many Sears products over the years and it was a pleasant surprise to learn about SEARS PARTSDIRECT as a source for replacement parts for many Sears products.

Easy installation. Works as advertised
Pretty easy. I was able to use half my old mounts. Had 5v at both wires, spliced in the new sensors. If they don't light swap the wires.

Easy installation with instant startup in service
Mounting brackets are strong and hold the sensors firmly. Used care to align brackets when installing It worked as soon as I turned it on.

Easy to install
It was easy to install once confident. Since there was no installation instructions with the sensors, I had to call the manufacturer, Guardian (they returned my call within 10 minutes), to confirm if the units had to be installed on a specific side of the door (ie, a left and right unit)... the answer was either side. Thus, I installed units to replace my 1995 sensors on a Craftsman garage door opener. (red light stays lite and green light blinks). Worked yesterday ... time will tell for how long.
