Jigsaw puzzle to install
This Plastic base replacement was an exact fit, which was what I wanted. No problems removing the old fasteners or attaching the new ones. The puzzle requires re-assembly by removing the crank handle to fit the large rectangular cover through the opening in an angular way to get the rod for the hinge of the saw to fit in its' respective cradles. Done any other way is impossible. It took two hours to do (removing and re-installation) but well worth the effort.

Not that difficult at all.
Easy to switch out the body. I've had this saw for about 15 years, been doing woodwork and renovation for 30 years. It's severed me well. It should be among the top 10 rated portable table saws. Fence system needs to be improved on it but the 4.4 HP motor makes up for that.
