Missing vital part of assembly

This is the second time an incomplete assembly has arrived. The striker is missing from the Factory sealed bag. Yet the parts diagram clearly shows this piece as part of the overall latch assembly. Do not buy a KitchenAid. Sears parts has been my only option since I cannot reach KitchenAid by any method.
