Refrigerator Compressor Overload and Start Relay Kit (replaces 2188832, 2216697, 8201531, 8201532) 8201786

The installation instructions booklet that came with the part was clear, concise , simple to understand, was key to getting the part installed.

Problem: Refrigerator and Freezer stopped working. With the refrigerator plugged in the compressor was still warm to the touch but was not coming on. I tested the start capacitor and it tested good. I took the start relay off and it was making loose part noise so at that point I figured that I would replace it. This kit had every configuration for all side by side refrigerators. The instructions worked well and I replaced the parts for my installation. Thanks to all of the T/S feedback from other DIYers. My refrigerator is now working great!

There was two separate start relays be sure to read the instructions for the one to use. One is for the "80" compressor the other for the "90" modle compressor. Disregaurd the "overload" change for the Style 2 "90" compressor. Worked like new..

This relay kit replaces original relay assembly with newer assembly or separate relay and overload sensor that fits compressors EGY80 or EGY90.

It contained all the right parts including other parts for different in models. Easy to install with a Philips screwdriver and a nut driver. Refrigerator started right up.

About one hour to very correct components and install.

This was second repair in 18 years so new parts look different from old parts.

Thr kit comes with extra parts, I was able to install the correct parts from the kit thanks to the directions.
