Stainless does not swap for plastic in same model

I could not properly install this part bc the "housing" on the bottom inside is different than for plastic handles. We were attempting to replace the plastic handle with a stainless steel one bc the plastic ones keep breaking. It wasn't hard, but it didn't work either, had to return and order the plastic one.
