With the reversed posture and unobservable location of the object circuit board, I found it necessary to uninstall the hood, which I prepared to do by masking the exposed surfaces with light cardboard against any incidental scratching. With the Range hood thus removed and supported front side down and facing bottom towards me for servicing, a #1 size Phillips screwdriver tip on a 4" magnetic screwdriver is nicely suited to remove 3 small screws holding the circuit board, to keep hold of the screws once out, and to reinsert them in a tight spot. You will no doubt find a penlight flashlight to be advantageous. Three electrical connections are uncomplicated, with some gentle coaxing of the tightly snug ribbon cable plugs. The parts shipped also contained a mounting bracket for the circuit board and a key pad cover, the which I did not install, since the existing parts were in no need of replacing, so sadly I cannot related any specifics on that phase.
