Works with my Cabrio Washer WTW7800XW4
The original lid was splitting apart where the hinge mounts. Sears packed this fragile part very well with moldable packing foam. This lid fits and after 4 torx screws to remove the old lid, reattach the new lid. The lid regained it's full features such as it stays open.

Fairly easy install
Fairly easy to install (for 1 person). Just need to hold your mouth right to get the screws started. Would have been a snap with another set of hands. You will need a little star drive bit * for the screws.

Very easy to install!!
4 screws to remove the broken one. Slide the old one off, slide the new one on, replace the screws, and it's done!! Great fit, easy install!!

Fourth time is the charm
Very easy to install but expensive in my opinion. Other websites were more expensive. This is the fourth time replacing this part twice under warranty twice out of pocket. If I knew then what I know now I would have never bought a machine with a glass and plastic lid. The machine rpms cause stress around the hinge of lid causing plastic to crack machine will not turn on if lid not secure. The part is great installs in minutes with Philips head screwdriver. This time the screws were rusted the new lid does not come with screws or hinges. I have a box of all sizes and types of screws nuts and bolts. I was able to find screws that fit. If I didn't find screws my local hardware store carries the screws for less than a buck. It will last about two years I will put $ 25 a month aside and just buy a new machine next time. I wish I could replace with a metal lid. Live and learn I guess.

Replacement part - should have been warranty
Easy to replace but bad design caused initial failure. Expect replacement to fail also, will not buy Whirlpool again, parts break too easy and are too expensive to replace
