LG water filter (part number ADQ72910911) has NSF certification 42; it reduces chlorine taste and odor and class III particulates rust, dirt, sand and sediment 5 to 15 microns in size.
Water filter ADQ72910911, also known as LT500P, fits select Kenmore, Kenmore Elite and LG side-by-side and bottom-freezer refrigerators.
Replace every 6 months, or more often if water flow slows noticeably.
Follow the package instructions when you install this water filter.

Filter and 2 replacement rails
3 parts for the same refrigerator. Parts arrived in 3 separate shipments over the course of about 2 weeks. I question the efficiency of this process.
