Unplug the dryer before beginning to make the repair. Then remove the door. Screws secure it to the front panel.

To take off the old hinge, lay the door on a padded surface with the screw heads facing up. Pull out and down on the plastic cover to snap it loose, then take out the 4 hinge screws.
