Brush shaft not machined properly
Ordered several parts to repair an old Craftsman Lawn Sweeper with broken brush shaft. Received all parts ordered promptly, but the shaft wasn' correct. The original shaft had a rectangular slot cut in it where the pawl went. The new shaft had only a round hole drilled in the shaft where the pawl was suppose to go, which wasn't big enough for the pawl to go through. Had to carry shaft to local machine shop and have and have shaft milled out for pawl, which was an additional cost to me. Sears should have more quality control on stuff like this
