The diameter of the stem appeared to be an exact match for the original pads. The actual feet were a little thinner.I cleaned the holes in the grate with a drill bit that matched the hole diameter and had to lubricate them with a little cooking oil to get them fully inserted.

Works as intended, fairly easy to install

You may have to get a small pick of some kind to get all remnants of the old pads out before putting in the new ones. Also, will check on longevity - I am hopeful that these will last a lot longer than the original ones (which started disintegrating after about two years).

the product was recommended as the proper pad for my Kitchen Aid stove based on the number I entered. When they arrived they weren't the same diameter as the originals but since the item was not returnable, my husband used a silicone to keep them in place and fill in the gap. I hope this works!
