Purchased part was broken.
Price was good, part was broken. Installed the part, plugged in washer, set the selector knob to clean washer to invoke diagnostics. All the LEDS were lit on on all selections except 'OFF'. Pressing buttons did not do anything. Re-installed original, got back to original fail. Re-installed new part with the same all LED on results. Bought new part locally. Washer works fine.

Whirlpool Washing machine replacment parts
Very disappointed! 1/2 of my order still has not arrived. The one part I received does not work. I have 3+ hours invested in the repair and zero progress. The installation is not difficult, just time consuming. I followed all ESD protocols. I am very comfortable in saying the part is defective. (40+ years as an Electronics Tech)

Part Was Bad
Existing board was replaced. The new board did not even light up the display according to the repair man and would not send any control signals to the solenoids or motors. Put old board back in and determined that it was the motor control board that is bad internal to the motor. Time for a new washer.
