It was not bad at all to put on

It took me more than 20 minutes but not much longer I'm old and slow. Worked for Sears about twenty years as a outside technician guess that helped.

Carb is good replacement for OEM

Good product as it fit as a replacement for OEM and fixed my problem. However, I did have to use the throttle assembly stop screw and retaining clip from old carb which should not have been the case for a brand new carb. Since it was a replacement for OEM and not the original, I also had to do some simple rewiring because it did not use the existing plug for the solenoid attached to the bottom of the carb. These two caveats are the reason for 4 stars as opposed to 5.
