It's Just a Belt
Time to replace the original 40 year old belt. Easy to do because that is how the spindle speed is changed.

big improvement over a 40 year old belt
Needed to replace a 40 plus year-old belt. New belt eliminated nearly of the harmonic imbalance felt when drill is operated on lowest speed.

easy to install
upon installing belt I also noticed belt pulley on the motor was out of alignment ,adjusted it and installed new belt it [performs great.
