Best prices on the pars I needed.
The spool and spring are very easy to install. My only concern is that the plastic spool bottom is no longer available anywhere for my particular model so once it is worn out or broken my line trimmer will be rendered useless.

Was not the right part
Unfortunately the part was not for the weedwacker model I have. The salesman was helpful but the part is wrong.

Wrong part, did not fit, correct part discontinued
The part recommended to me by PartsDirect did not fit my trimmer. I found out the part I need is no longer manufactured. This renders the trimmer useless. I will have to throw it away and buy another trimmer. Questions below cannot be answered correctly as the part was not able to be installed at all.

Uses good line
Keep your old spool spring. It does not come with a new one. Without it your line will feed out and twist all up

Remove old worn and replace with new
30 minute job. Cleaned away grass and dirt. Blew out. Reassembled.
