It worked!
The knob was easy to install, but would have been nice to have a set of directions for installation, especially at the price. I had to go through many YouTube videos and never found anything relative. After tinkering for a while, I figured out how to put it on. Quick fix, but very expensive piece of plastic.

washer timer knob
Easy to install. However it did not solve our problem. The dial does not progress as it moves past wash and I am left with a wet mess in the tub. Have not solved this as of yet. Might mean a new washer as we were quoted by repairman is would cost $568. to come and fix it. And. the front loader is 19+ years old.
