Choose this manufacturer-approved drain pump for your front-load washer.
This drain pump for a Bosch front-load washer model number WFMC1001UC-02 removes water from the wash tub.
Shut off power to the washer before beginning to install the replacement drain pump. Accessing the old pump requires removing the front panel from the washer cabinet. To do this, remove the door hinges, door spring and door latch screws, then carefully remove the front shield. Take out the screws from the top and bottom of the front panel, then lift the panel up to free it from the plastic tabs on each side.
To take out the old drain pump, pull of the hoses, disconnect the door latch release cord and disconnect the wire harness. Slide the pump to the rear of the washer and pull it out of the machine.
