Wrong Part
June 02, 2019

The manufacturer supposedly approved a replacement part, because the original was not available. The new one had the primer input nozzle moved to the opposite side, right in the way of the throttle linkage. It's a $39.00 fishing line weight. Don't buy it!!! (Unless you're fishing for really big game.)

tune up the chain saw
February 25, 2019

After 30 years of (infrequent) use, my Craftsman chain saw finally failed, primarily due to fuel line breakdown. When I found I could completely overhaul the fuel system, from purge bulb to carburetor, for only about $80, I decided to go all in. An hour or so was all it took to get the saw running like new again. Outstanding!
