dryer high temp limit installation
I did not disassemble dryer body. I also replaced cut out switch along with the high-limit temp switch. Took about 90 minutes. this was a tight work area,but it was better then to diasemble the boby.

15 minutes to install
Part went in fine, in 15 minutes. Dryer works fine. Make sure you have a 1/4 inch socket and tiny fingers. After unplugging the machine, took off the cover screws, then the blower cover, removed the two wires from the thermostat removed the two tiny screw that hold it in place, replaced with the new one, plugged in the two wires, replaced the covers and Voila! It works!!! One I received the part it went like I knew what I was doing. The first thermostat I received broken. I wasn't able to review that part of my experience by the review censors. I could only speak about the installation. I couldn't tell about the install until I got a part that wasn't broken in shipping. Install went great. I just was without a dryer for twice as long. So, That is how my installation went, GREAT, once I got a part that was not broken in shipping.

Go somewhere else or buy direct from Whirlpool
I was promised deliver in 2 days took over a week and had to buy parts elswhere because we needed a dryer. Further, I was completely overcharged. A local parts distributer was 30% less.

Buy on Amazon
Took over three months to get my part I ordered and it was poorly wrapped and broken when it arrived. Found the same part on Amazon and had it the next day. Called and couldn't get in touch with anyone who cared. No wonder this once great company is going out of business. This was the last of my money I will spend with them.
