Fit BUT...
Old screen was metalic filter - this one came with foam-like filter with metal thin layer. On fan-high the foam gets sucked against the metal layer and it rubs agains the fan. We made a few adjustments and will see if this lasts...

Even though Sears no longer exists it was wonderful to find a place where Sears parts can be located to get parts for replacing in our Sears equipment.

Did not fit
I ordered this part for the Sears Kenmore ductless range hood Mod. # 233.51841591. According to the Sears Parts Direct information this part was an exact fit for my needs. The width and length were correct but the thickness was not. Installation was easy and the filter seemed to fit the design perfectly, but when I turned on the vent fan, the charcoal filter section of this filter was caught up in the fan blades and damaged beyond repair.

Not so easy to install
This part was almost correct. The replacement part had a charcoal filter element over a fiber element on the wire frame. Unfortunately the filter blocked the fan blades preventing them from spinning. Ripping out the charcoal portion of the filter almost made it work right. I still had to bend the entire frame to keep the fiber elemt from hitting the fan blades. Not happy even though this was the 'approved' replacement filter.
