Bracket is welded on the wrong side
I have received the handle but the bracket that holds the shift lever came welded on the wrong side. I called the custom service and they ordered a replacement. But the replacement order has the some issue. I called the custom service again. They said they will ask someone to look into the issue and contact me in 2-3 days. The online picture of the handle shows the bracket on the correct side. Why the handle from the warehouse has the bracket on the wrong side?? Can you look into the problem and let me know? I cannot do the install work until I get the handle with the bracket on the correct side.

Bracket is welded on the wrong side
The bracket that holds the shift lever came welded on the wrong side. I will have to bring it to a shop to have it removed and reattached to the other side of the column. I will have them fix some of the other welds that are not done correctly. There were gaps big enough to fit a finger nail between.

It was nice to know this part was still available
It was very simple to install. Unbolt 4 bolts; reattach the bolts; adjust the linkage; remove and install the rubber handles.

Requires average mechanical ability.
This the second new handle for this piece. It split at the same point each time, suggesting inferior design at that point, the area where the tube attaches to the lower bolting section.

No information of any kind in box. just part #
It's not hard pretty easy - however it wasn't threaded correctly so because I didn't have the correct size tap to thread it I drilled it out so the bolt could be installed. It works but that took me 20 extra minutes to disassemble it and reassemble it again. It works now. You'd think it would come with rubber hand grips at that price.
