Find another vendor!
Waited 6 months for the part which was then cancelled without any notice or refund. Called and was told the part was in stock, I could order it again, and it would arrive within the week. When the part arrived it was used, there was hair in the roller section and it was scratched. To top it all off it was not the part I'd ordered and wouldn't fit my vacuum. It's being returned and I'm finished with Sears for good.

Does not work
This part is supposed to be a replacement for the original Powermate and would perform exactly as the original. It does not. When using it in carpet mode the suction does not increase and the light does not go on. Complete waste of time and money. I am going to return it.
