Should get another 20yrs from mower

I have a 20 yr old Craftsman self propelled with Honda engine. still runs and cuts great but the drive locked up. Hated to get a new mower since quality on them all has declined in recent years. Fortunatly this pinion kit has be back in business. Hoping to get another 20yrs out of it!!!

Note, the kit included gear sets for both sides.

Relatively easy to install.

It was a great idea to encapsulate the parts as a unit in plastic and install the pinion kit as a unit .Note: you only need to order one kit which will have both left and right pinions.

straight forward to install.

Somewhat difficult to remove the e-ring without proper tool. Kit appears to work for several models - my mower does not have o-rings on the wheel shaft but rather a washer. Needed to remove the old oarts before taking off the dust cover. I also lubed the wheel shaft.
