This drive belt (part number 989185001) is for sanders.

Drive belt 989185001 connects the motor drive pulley to the sander drive drum.

Unplug the sander before installing this part. Wear work gloves to protect your hands.

This drive belt turns the rollers so that the sandpaper rotates. Without this belt a belt sander does not work. Very easy to replace worn out belt.

My Craftsman belt sander was due for some repairs, so I went on line and started ordering parts. I ordered a trigger switch and a drive belt. I need some other parts; they were not available. My parts came very quickly, repairs were done, and my work continued.
