Additional Information

This gearbox transfers power from the motor to the trimmer head, allowing the spool to spin for cutting. If your trimmer head won t rotate or makes grinding noises, the gearbox may be stripped or damaged.

Disconnect the spark plug wire before working on the trimmer. Wear gloves to protect your hands and use a screwdriver to remove the old gearbox and secure the new one. Make sure the internal gears are properly aligned before use.
