Quick and easy install
Took more to empty the ice container than to change the parts. The ice dispenser coupler had broken in half. When I checked the dispenser I noticed the auger did not remain straight. it wobbled as it turned. I ordered both items. Once I received the items, I set aside 2 hours to get it done. Once I unscrewed the retaining screw and the plate, I was able to remove the auger. I removed the blades and placed them on the table in line. I installed the blades on the new auger and reinstalled them in the dispenser. Once I made sure everything was correct, reinstalled the washer and the new coupled, replaced the screws on the plate and the auger. I reinstalled the dispenser, turned on the icemaker. Half an hour. that's it.

Not the same auger design
The design of the auger is diiferent. The auger is higher than the original and does not make the ice dispense. It is much smaller than the original. It is an easy install, but does not work.

Not the same as original
This part is different. The original had a near right angle bend close to the bottom which stirs the ice at the bottom of the bucket. The replacement has about a 45 degree bend, which leaves the ice at the bottom unstirred, so the ice tends to freeze into a block.
