dont remove all the screws along front cover
We watched a video of how to install the control board for the dishwasher. We had to removed all screws down the side of the unit and the video made it seem like you did not have to do that. We were unable to open the area by just taking out the screws that were around the black control area. This made the installation much longer as you needed 2 more hands to push the front panel up under the black control panel and work in a small spot. The actual work of replacing the the control board was easy and no problem at all it was just the 2 front panels of dishwasher that took all the time.

EASY swap out of dish washer control board
Thanks to a couple of videos and pics of the process it was easy to do, certainly a lot easier than going out and buying a whole new dishwasher or even a used one. This Sears website was the cheapest I found, the part came in a weeks time, ideally it would've came faster, but the wait was ok. My dishwasher is in great shape but blew the control board thanks to a winter storm knocking the power out, and then running the house on the generator. Being able to swap out the control board myself saved me a lot of time and $$.
