Best price I could find and arrived a couple days early. So far, so good! Under normal circumstances where you can slide the dishwasher a few inches out from under the counter, easy installation. Previous homeowner wood floored the kitchen after installing the dishwasher so the only way it's coming out, even half an inch, is to rip up the floor or cut out the counter . . .

Easy to install

First Look at the matching spring on the other side to see what holes to use. Close the door to shorten distance needed to stretch spring. Insert top of spring (shorter hook) into hole on side of door. Using needle nose pliars on bottom hook, carefully stretch and insert in hole on bottom of frame. A few tries needed to get it. 10 min DIY fix!

Somewhat confusing parts manual

Difficult to tell from parts book how many springs were needed. I ordered one, but two were required. Installation was fairly easy, but I needed to order another, so the project is still not complete at this time. I was able to modify the broken spring to get the dishwasher door working as normal until the 2d spring comes in. IMHO parts manuals should indicate the quantity of a given part needed for the assembly like many parts manuals do, but that is just little old me. Or the expanded parts breakdown could show both parts.

Easy Do it yourself Job - Installing a door spring in Dishwasher. Just had to wait 8 months for this two bit part to arrive! Will save this one as spare. Meanwhile, found equivalent one online and got it the next day via Amazon Prime
