This right pedal disc for an elliptical holds a magnet that passes across a reed switch with each rotation. The electrical signal generated is converted into information displayed on the console. The disc provides a securing point for the left pedal arm and bracket.

• Replacing the pedal arm brackets and bracket bearings at the same time as the right pedal disc is recommended.
• While making the repair, inspect the left pedal disc, pedal arm bracket and pedal disc cover for damage. Replace any parts that show excessive wear.
