Tight fit
My mower deck was slightly misshapen from hard use by the previous owner. The back edge of the mulch plate would not go into position until I pounded the deck back toward normal. Also, my 2 wing nuts and studs were rusty and had to be replaced. I plan to use this mower primarily for mulching only so I removed the deflector plate to gain more clearance through some gates. Parts Direct prices are higher than other sources of these parts. However, I was willing to pay the premium to order three parts from one source.
